Sounds gravy, I might do that for a Hell's Precipice environment. Next boss will be a big nasty hydra.

Last piece looks very nice! I like the cherry blossom tree being blurred on the foreground.

Oooh maybe you should do something from Vabbi next!

Lol, seeing as how work is chugging along at a steady rate, I think I might be able to put together a piece for the contest. Possibly do a large triptych style panel of the Battle of Sunjiang I described in my character's bio.

@Raven: I most certainly will be getting around to Vabbi. Personally, I find Islamic and Indian style fascinating. Though the next one coming up will prob be Hell's Precipice. I'm going to start slowly focusing more on color theory in the next few pieces along with the SP technique.

PRIMORDUS UP IN THIS BIZNITCH.

Combination of a speed paint + palette study. At first, the jagged rock look didn't seem anything like Hell's Precipice. But I kept moving forwards anyways, and eventually Primordus made his way into this picture. So instead of Hell's Precipice, we now have a new arena: Realm of Primordus.

I'll update the main page in a little bit.

Sure is. That little guy you see in the background would be Primordus, one of the ancient dragons that awakens and rips Tyria a new one. I'll be working on all of the dragons, each one having their own unique domain/theme.

Yep. Colossal dragons are a good theme to work on if you're striving for that "epic" feel.

That would be a "torch", Baybay.

EDIT: Chicken has been chosen as the sixth fighter. That being said, the character select request is now temporarily closed until I have cleared the list. Player selections/waitlist may change as my ideas frequently change.

Thumbs up

omg Charlie, these are more like it ~ real speeds, without too much deliberation .. and the results have that wonderful roughness that suggests dramatic tension;
with the letterbox format they match the GW loading screens too~!

My fave is your ShingJea but that's my bias; your Primordius is overall the most impressive - with that dragon, cataclysmic landscape, and hero in the centre of it all~!
